Week 7 is here, and the Goosepoop website is refreshed for another huge weekend of MHSAA football.

Updated team ratings, projected spreads, over/unders, win probabilities, playoff odds, and more are live for teams across Michigan on the Goosepoop website.

This week, we went through and verified all playoff points, projections, and other things are entirely accurate for your team’s end of season push!

The computer model rankings have also been updated after six weeks of results, giving us an very clear picture of where teams stand as the playoffs inch closer.

Week 6 gave us some serious shake ups in the computer rankings. Before we jump into those ranking changes, let’s jump into Week 6 👇

First things first, here’s how the Top 30 games by Goosepoop Game Score played out last week:

The model picked the winners at 86% this week 😳

Still, Week 6 delivered some major surprises, at least according to the model.

The biggest? Grand Rapids Catholic Central dominated Middleville TK despite entering as a 10-point underdog. Hudson also took down Clinton in a big LCAA showdown, while Mona Shores and Howell pulled out thrilling one-point victories!

Lets jump into this week’s rankings: we’ll start with the Super 25, our ranking of the top 25 teams in Michigan regardless of division. Check it out:

The latest Top 10 rankings in all eight divisions are in, giving us a fresh look at how teams stack up after Week 6. Check them out here.

Week 7 is has two massive matchups, 1 on the East, and 1 on the West. Detroit Catholic Central takes on Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, and East Kentwood takes on Caledonia. Both have huge ranking implications!

Survivor Island is getting smaller, too. We’ve got another group of undefeated vs. undefeated matchups this week, at least two more perfect seasons are guaranteed to come to an end. Check out those matchups here.

Playoffs are only 3 weeks away! With six weeks of results in the books, the playoff picture is starting to take a clear shape across all eight divisions.
