RANKING ALL 760 BOY'S BASKETBALL TEAMS

I've been promising this post for a while - here it is!!!!

Hi Everyone!

For our 60th post, we’ve got a special treat for everyone.

It’s a post we’ve been promising on Twitter for quite a while.

Below, you’ll find all 760 Boy’s Basketball Teams, ranked from top to bottom.

I’ve also included each teams’ division (“Div”) and computer rating (“Rating”).

Each team’s division is self explanatory. As for the computer rating, don’t put too much stock into the number itself. Rather, you can use this number for a means of comparison between teams.

For instance, North Farmington is rated 58.7. Their nearest competitor, Brother Rice, is rated 55.6. This means that should those two teams play tomorrow, the computer would assign a 3.1 point spread for that game, in favor of North Farmington (58.7 - 55.6 = 3.1).

BOY’S BASKETBALL RANKINGS, TEAMS #1 - 105

Some interesting notes here:

Genesee Christian is the lone D4 team rated within the top 100 (#95)
Of the top 35 teams, only 10 are from divisions 2 and lower.
Romulus Summit Academy is the highest rated lower division team, coming in at #7
There’s a clear break point between our top 7 teams and the rest …. #7 Summit Academy is rated 2 - 3 points better than #8 Detroit Loyola. Is the computer correct that these 7 teams are a cut above everyone else?
