Week 2 Recap
Let’s start with some superlatives across 11-man games last week:

hands down the most impressive team in the state through two weeks, per last year's computer model

You’ll note the most impressive win from last week was LakeVille beating Chesaning, 28-0
That’s continuing an early season trend for them; by our computer model’s measurements, Lakeville is the #1 most outperforming team in the State thus far this year

one interesting metric i like to look at this time of year is which teams have exceeded their 2024 computer model projections
for instance, lakeville has exceeded their 2024 projections by an average of 71 points thus far this year

The last tweet measured ‘most improved’ teams, but this leaves out teams that are doing well but were already improved
One way we can capture this in the early season is by looking at average margin of victory

Week 3 Look Ahead:
For Week 3, we don’t have projections yet, but we do have the Goosepoop Game Score:
ok - been wanting to do this for sometime, and have finally made time to get it done
were gonna do top games each week, ranked by what we'll call 'goosepoop game score', which is a quantitative ranking of each matchup across the state
basically it gives each game two scores -
